• China Painting Club – This is currently a group of China Painters that likes to get together and share their ideas and have a fun time.

Craft Classes/Clubs

• Knit and Crochet Club - This group donates the products they make during the summer to the many non-profit organizations in the area. They make caps for the newborns at the local hospital, afghans, lap robes and shawls for the nursing homes, and caps, mittens, scarf’s for the needy. • Quilting and More Club - This group of ladies likes to get together with their quilts and/or other sewing project to share ideas and techniques. They bring their bag lunches so be prepared for a fun social hour also. Contact Libby Burns at 828-733-4258.
• Winter Stitches’ Club – meets during the winter only. This knit, crochet, quilting, etc. group meets and brings whatever their current project is to work on. Contact Patricia Boatman at 828-733-5139.
• Stained Glass Class - These classes are limited to 15 people so that each person gets the attention and personal instruction needed. The cost is $35 per person, and includes beginner’s projects and all the tools you will need. Contact Sue Hutchins at 828-265-9780.
